Personal safety is a very serious matter. 

Personal safety training is not another martial art, in fact it’s completely different! Although some elements of training will cross over, personal safety comprises of much more and has a different emphasis. 

Threat detection, dynamic risk assessing, profiling, route planning, precautions and strategies for situations form a great deal of training. As well as, CQC (Close Quarter Combat), confidence and communications and PT (Physical Training).

Executive Command run regular sessions in these areas, these classes are for the general public, at any level. No ego’s or Attitudes are permitted and the training is fully inclusive, fun and geared towards all abilities. The Door Supervisor (DS) course is a great qualification allowing you to gain your SIA (security industry authority) Licence to work at clubs, pubs, events and in the security industry in general. The course is delivered in a class-based environment with demonstrations, presentations and lots of practical training too. The course is 5 days and includes guest speakers each day, including Street Pastors, Police and NHS staff, to give added value to your training experience.

This is a fantastic qualification to have, both as employer of security operatives, and the operatives themselves. Here is why - If there is a way to minimise the very real risk, associated with physical intervention and to promote staff safety, it should be taken! Handcuffs and soft restraints - when used by a trained individual, do that very thing!

We can train individuals and teams to a competent level, qualifying them to carry and use handcuffs for operational use. The course has both a theory and a practical element. 

It is advisable that operatives attending training are competent already in physical intervention or that they incorporate this into the training in a bespoke package or ‘bolt-on’ extra.

- Medical Implications and First Aid in relation to this.

- Principles of Handcuffing.

- Applications and Removal of Handcuffs.

- Using different types of cuff.

- Moving and transportation of individuals.
